The Goal
Objective
The goal of this project was to develop a distinctive visual identity for Cheuveux Chic, a hair specialist company preparing to launch its e-commerce platform. The brand focuses on women who love wigs and hair care products, offering high-quality hair and cosmetics designed to enhance personal style and confidence.
The challenge was to create a brand identity that feels feminine, chic, and modern, while remaining minimal and adaptable across digital platforms, especially for an online store and social media presence.
The process
Approach
The visual direction was built around the idea of elegance and simplicity.
To achieve this, the identity uses a refined color palette combining pink and black. Pink reinforces the feminine aspect of the brand, while black introduces contrast and sophistication, creating a balanced and modern aesthetic.
For the typography, the Neulis font family was selected for its balance between geometric structure and soft curvature. Its rounded forms and subtle script-like influence bring a sense of warmth, femininity, and fluidity, which aligns well with the beauty and hair industry while maintaining clarity and modernity.
For the logo, the concept focuses on a minimalist symbol built from the letter “C”, representing the name Cheuveux Chic. A small four-point star was introduced as a secondary element to evoke the idea of beauty, shine, and refinement, reinforcing the brand’s chic personality.
